Who is Dan White

Dan White loves baseball’s history, traditions, and the way it brings people together across the world. He learned the game through a mix of experience and curiosity: playing, listening to coaches, reading books, watching films, and diving into online resources. One of his most inspiring moments came while spectating at the Little League World Series, where he saw young players from every corner of the globe show their respect for “America’s past-time” that is celebrated everywhere.

As a parent watching his sons’ games, Dan often noticed how many young players seemed unsure of what to do. Whether that be fielding, running the bases, or stepping up to hit. These skills can certainly be taught at practice or gained through experience, but it’s a lot for a young mind to remember in the heat of the moment. Knowing what to do before a play unfolds can prevent confusion, build confidence, and make the game even more fun.

That realization sparked these books. The goal is twofold: first, to teach young players how to handle different baseball situations; second, to make that learning fun and interactive. As a kid, he loved “choose your own adventure” books, where you shape the story with each decision. Baseball is much the same, as it’s full of situations where every choice matters. This book combines that spirit with the game of baseball, creating an immersive way to learn, play, and enjoy baseball.
